I love this video for several reasons..... it's not too long which can overwhelm people trying to start. It's got meaningful advise that I haven't heard in other videos on this topic (sunk costs! -I recognize this term and think it is a big deal for frugal people who have quasi-hording tendencies). I'm now going to explore your other videos. Thank you!

I think that the least painful way to part with sentimental things is to give them to siblings, children, grandchildren, or nieces/nephews. That way, they're still in the family, and they can be handed down to later generations of relatives.

And…. NOW. IM LOOKING AT MY FINAL …. Stuff… I want to let go… I can’t carry em.., any longer. Photos. Camera n video equip, sewing center n equipment, Paint n supplies. And lastly : towels. Sheets, curtains, …. I can’t carry it. No room. . N. Family doesn’t want it.

I like both faux and real but often do not buy real because I have a cat who will eat it and I do not want to have to over think a good plant to have or not. So faux is the way to go! Loved that you used real looking and real looking stems to add. Good tips thank you.

Wow! I love every single suggestion you shared! I am moving in 3 wks and I have scaled down a lot, trying to keep only what I love and what is functional. I feel I may need to refurnish some pieces to make it more of what I want but your words have inspired me to take risks. I am not confident with decorating my house but I want to try and make it look nicer. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I typically avoid canned food. However a few weeks ago I found a great deal on canned potatoes. I could get like a dozen cans of whole potatoes for $6! And with food prices soaring and kids getting ready to be done with school, I figured why not. I have seriously been missing out! My husband and son both love anything potato. But after a long day at work, I don’t always want to deal with the soaking and boiling and then cooking. Canned potatoes are awesome. I even used them to make gnocchi the other night and honestly, they were nearly identical to my traditional gnocchi! I will say I love air frying them!!!

I use only flat paint in all rooms, even bathrooms. Once, I was talked into buying satin paint. I hated the shiny walls. Make sure you test the sheen as well as colors to see what you like before making a costly mistake.

I live in Brooklyn I want white walls I get a lot of sun from my windows, I have light brown wood boarder’s N light brown wood floors. What color white should I get. My kitchen is also white but I always get that grease stains from the stove on the walls is their a paint that I can get that will be easy to clean. ? Hope U can help.
